Greetings!My name is Milly Huron, a pre-debut author focused on querying my first manuscript (THESE OLD GODS) while working on two more.I live in Michigan with my husband, my two cats (Spooky and Boo), and my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (Strider). This year, I am building out a garden in my small yard, since I had to start over when we moved. I can never grow enough basil!I have been an avid reader since a book was placed in my hand and a writer since 3rd grade. My mom loves to tease about the fact that ---instead of grounding me like a normal parent--- she had to take my books away. I wrote so many WARRIOR CATS books and still to this day maintain a presence on the same RP forum that I started writing on at the age of twelve.I love to explore themes of cycles, mental health, and odd takes to the world in my works. My personal goal is to have at least one controversial main character per manuscript; I want to push the boundaries of what we expect out of characters in our books. I relish in exploring dark and disturbing themes in a respectful way. Emotionally destroying your readers is every author's dream!I am extremely community focused.
